Archkeeper
Thoughts for the Morrow
by Joseph Stanley
handful of sand, throw it in the sky
dust your feet, forget to tighten your tie
point yourself out, leave behind all doubt
call hannah on the phone, “do you wanna hangout?”
it is only 37 miles to salt lake city
You could acquire a knife and stab accountability
we have no money and we have no allies
just look at the glowing temple lights and get mesmerized
gas station blues, Your nose is in my eye
this climate forces me to make my own fireflies
neck against the swings, i’m praying for the perks
of the hard work i’ve done to never become a jerk
for i loved getting lost on a 65 mph highway
with You by my side on such a floral friday
